Ayang Trust will work with women farmers of Majuli to secure land rights and strengthen their land-based livelihoods by building women producers’ organizations with strong market linkages and high-quality production capacity. Their work will include: Assisting with filing land rights applications through women land leaders; Integrating women land leaders as part of state rural livelihood mission (SRLM); Building 300 women producer groups.
Dharamjeet was born and brought up in a farmer’s family, where he has lived the difficulties of a small farmer’s family. He holds a Master's in Development studies from Azim Premji University.
Aswathy is an engineering graduate from BITS Pilani and an MA graduate in Peace Education from, United Nations University for Peace.
Bipin completed his B.Tech and M.Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur.
